It’s not the size of your bar that counts; it’s what’s behind it and at The Sun we’re notoriously particular about what we serve. Even with a drinks list that includes craft beers and fine wines, we still like to create a few of our own – from marvellous Bloody Mary’s to aid your Sunday convalescence, to the best Espresso Martini and our Autumn Mocktail menu for those wanting something non-alcoholic.

Beer

As a truly independent freehouse we have been listed in the Good Beer Guide for the last 8 years.  We always stock a wide range of new and interesting beers and ales and are passionate about guaranteeing you’re served a great pint.

With six cask ale pumps we can guarantee something for everyone: strong, dark traditional or light we will have a real ale for you. Our ever rotating selection includes ales from breweries such as Wimbledon Brewery, By The Horns, Siren, Brick , Drop Project and Surrey Hills. All our ales are also available to take home in a 2 pint growler and can be ordered in a tasting paddle if you can’t decide which one to choose.

If you’ve never tasted an ale before just ask for a sample and don’t forget to check out Brewery Lane as you walk into our garden for some of our favourites.

Wine

Here at The Sun we are just as serious about our wine providing you with an interesting selection of excellent wines at affordable prices.  We have 10 whites, 10 reds and a choice of rose options many available by the glass providing a great opportunity to match your food and wine.  We offer both old world and new world wines and a few off the beaten track through our monthly wine specials to keep it interesting.
