Located just a stone’s throw from Carshalton Ponds, The Sun first opened its doors in 1866. Restored to its former glory in 2009, The Sun is an independent freehouse and has gained a reputation for its fresh seasonal food and service whilst retaining a relaxed pub atmosphere.

We welcome diners and drinkers alike, whether you’re coming to eat, relax in our beautiful walled garden or have a drink at the bar we will make sure your visit is an occasion to remember.

Head Chef Gary Marshall leads a team of talented chefs in our kitchen to produce an outstanding fresh seasonal menu full of all the traditional pub classics but with our very own contemporary touches.
